It was time to clean up and recycle unreleased music done by Miro over the past few years. The upcoming "Lost & Found" series will strictly contain works done from 2006 - 2010, deserving to be released. Without a specific formula, only being selected for having that "certain something", some tracks might find a happy home in DJ bags ready to be played.
The first four selected tracks range from classic, eerie minimalistic techno to deeper house vibes, all on the obscure side of things. Make up your own mind and hopefully find a forgotten tune, that will fit to you.

Lazerslut delivers music with passion and purpose. Thanks for your support. Miro loves you!

CLUB VAMPIRE

LS035
Artist: MIRO PAJIC
Title: Club Vampire
Label: Lazerslut
Cat. No: LS035
Genre: Techno/Indie Dance/Nu Disco
Release Date: 18/01/2013 (Beatport)
2 weeks later all other stores

Track listing:
01. Club Vampire (6:10)
02.
Saturn Vampires (6:14)
03. Waltz Of Doom (8:14)

Fantastic, it's 2013 and we're all still alive! Five years have passed and Miro has reached No. 35 on his imprint, a three-track vampire adventure delivered in fresh mp3 format.

What would cold, dark and snowy days be without vampires? Who knows but a visit to
Club Vampire is highly suggested. Once you enter, you could be infected by subtle, yet dramatic TB 303 lines and bouncy, low organ grooves. The main title makes blood boil and party vampires get lost in ecstasy. No cheering, no hands up in the air. Do it like a vampire!

Saturn Vampires, explains the dance habits of vampires outside our planet. Truly funky, driven beat with subtle low rumbling sub bass paint the basic picture. Miro's friends, the background ghouls are floating along while being visited by funny voices and lovely little robot-like lead synths, which could scare you, but they don't since they only visit you for very short times - No worries, have fun!

Waltz Of Doom could somewhat be called a "house" track with special ingredients, we surely don't want to miss. Relatively smooth and funky drums make the groove, while a modest TB 303 bass line gives the track it's basic tone. Some abused, classic early 90's synth strings give it "that" certain something. Surreal melodies for surreal moments for the magic something you may not be able to describe, so: Check it out for yourself but…please, don't get lost!

Love it or leave it - The usual philosophy. Lazerslut delivers music with passion and purpose. Thanks for your support. I love you!

Public ∏ / 087 / Miro Pajic

Welcome to 87th edition of Public P Podcast. I’m writing you one of the easiest and very inspiring introductions lately. We may find the reason in our guest for this evening who represents a group of legendary old school names and people who contributed in many ways in popularization of underground music in the past 20 years. Mr. Miro Pajic. For those who may have been confused by his name or simply haven’t heard of him, I should tell you that he was born in Frankfurt but with origins coming from this area (who, like us, enjoys rakija) and ho was actively present on the underground scene from 1993. Like many other experienced producers, Miro himself had several turning points in his career with no fear when experimenting with music. Most of his releases may be heard on his label Lazerslut as well as on many other labels Kickhouse, Harthouse, Tic Tac Toe, Lt 400 and currently very popular Items & Things. The podcast Miro did for us is very hard to describe, overflown with obscure sound, complicated melodies, twisted bass lines, and in my opinion a podcast we didn’t have much chance to hear before in our show. I’m going to use this opportunity to announce his upcoming release for Items & Things, to be released 07.12.2012 with two new tracks you can check out, Love Chamber and Hot Body. Support for this evening belongs to a guy we think is the only one with a similar sound and the only man who was able to help us acquire a contact , Nebes. His releases for Heron’s label Limicola Records gained great feedback from many prominent DJ’s and legendary artists like Troy Pierce and he nowadays keeps on working on new projects for this label.

PULSATING

Artist: MIRO PAJIC
Title: PULSATING
Label:
LAZERSLUT
Cat.No.:
LS032
Genre:
MINIMAL
Format:
DIGITAL
Release Date:
20/07/2011 (Beatport excl.)
(other shops 2 weeks later)

Tracklist:
01. Pulsating (Original Mix)
02. Pulsating (Noah Pred Flatline Dub)
03. Strip Down (Original Mix)
04. A New Home, Another Planet (Original Mix)

The "Pulsating" vocal-synth effect guides throughout a timeless 8 minute time travel. Classic funky 808 Drums beating and snapping inbetween a minimalstic, yet dense sound fog leading to a surprising climax and heavy, funky bassline. Deep and trippy, light and heavy at the same time.

Thoughtless Music boss
Noah Pred (Thoughtless Music / Highgrade / Cynosure) continues with a brilliant interpretation of "Pulsating". His prominent, thick and catchy bassline dominates and pushes like there's no tomorrow. Extremely dance-y drums and hypnotizing synth line make it an all situation dancefloor bomb!

"Strip Down" brings back a non-trendy, classic "minimal" aesthetics with a modern flavour back into the 2012 game without sounding over done. Easy sounding drumcomputer programming let bodies shake in the strobe light and sweat while being nicely intimidated by a deep, driving low frequency bass thrust. Somebody's gotta do it!

The bonus track is "A New Home, Another Planet", a sci-fi string and film orieneted pompous piece. Emotionally big and tearing, this 2 minute drum-less, vibey reflection of miro's deep and Blade Runner loving side closes this four track e.p.

After fifteen solid releases, breakthrough label Items & Things has a proven record of speed and precision in their ability to charge into the cutting edge electronic music market. This summer Magda, Troy Pierce, Marc Houle and the gang will take a graceful leap into a smorgasbord of original tracks with their first collective compilation out on July 13, 2012. The four-piece vinyl box set is called VARIABLES, and comes in elaborate design and packaging, featuring a die-cut box from special textured material and 180g cream-colored vinyls. The track listing includes heavy hitting contributions from new friends, familiar faces, and Items & Things artists alike. For this compilation, Items & Things invites a few new friends to shake things up. The New York hyped Throne of Blood creators Populette and Playhouse’s stylish electro dream team, Rework, whip up a special exceptional batch for their first label appearance.

Label compadres Jimmy Edgar, Miro Pajic, Tomas More and Andy Martin will make their second appearances on the compilation. Detroit phenomenon
Jimmy Edgar first released the "Funktion Of Your Love" EP on I&T in 2009, while Tomas More and Andy Martin took over the "Various Items" release in 2011. Earlier this year, Berlin-based producer talent Miro Pajic also appeared on the B-side of Marc Houle’s "Undercover" single with his remix. On the home team roster, Click Box, Madato, Danny Benedettini and newcomers Howard Watson and NYMA surprise us with a few new tricks as they unleash their summer sounds.
Each track is fresh, fun and tailored to the summer season, bearing unique and funky musical traits unearthing the producers’ personalities. Naturally, a compilation of such high caliber wouldn’t pass through without a corresponding mix CD and for that, Items & Things has put
Magda on the job. The mix CD will come out as a separate release on July 27. Furthermore, all tracks will be made available as individual digital download.

As part of the VARIABLES release, Marc Houle and other compilation artists will head out to the sandy bar and club spot Ressort on July 22, 2012, overlooking the Spree in Berlin-Mitte to celebrate the release. A barbeque will kick off the festivities on the sundeck in the afternoon, later shifting bodies to the dance floor inside where the artists will play until the next morning. The full line-up and other details of the event will be announced soon.

In a world of stereotype overkills and clone-like mass productions, artists such as Miro Pajic create unique and outstanding productions as this one.
"Forever" is another dramatic sounding highlight and as stated by Miro himself "probably one of the most expressive tracks I've made in the last few years".

The title track had to be complimented with a fantastic remix done by one of Items & Things' shooting stars,
Danny Benedettini! His organic, nasty funkiness shines and make hips move while diving into atmospheric dark worlds.

"Make Me", less agressive and more on the stripped down side of things shines with obscure vocals telling a romantic, twisted story. A touch of funk and sexy bass sound make this track a "something to remember" creation. Organic weirdness and disco-y drums while keeping Miro's usual vibe is a step forward in uniting best of both worlds.

Lazerslut Recordings has seen the light of life in early 2008. Four years later Miro has reached No. 30 on the release list and the time to gather tracks for a "Best Of", or should it rather be called "Worst Of"? Why even considering the latter description? Because this compilation is not an assembly of the most sold, charted or successful tracks from the label.

Miro’s selection is a personal and deep choice of personal favorites. Each track stands for music that often "made" the label the way it is. Thirteen thoughtfully picked pieces of timeless and mostly spooky music covering weird after hour needs as well as dramatic techno. Additionally
Saturn Rain, a previously unreleased track has been added.

MARC HOULE - UNDERCOVER

I&T011
Artist: MARC HOULE
Title: UNDERCOVER
Label:
ITEMS&THINGS
Cat.No.:
IT011
Genre:
TECH HOUSE/MINIMAL
Format: Vinyl / Digital

Tracklist:
A1 Undercover (Original Mix)
A2 Triple E (Original Mix)
B1 Undercover (Miro Pajic Remix)
B2 Undercover (Bruno’s Electric Blanket Dub)

For his new EP, ‘Undercover', Items & Things co-founder Marc Houle jumps in his time machine and heads back in time. Destination Chicago, 1987, and a face to face with Master C&J exploring the mysterious power of plunging basslines and moody synths. On remix duties Berlin based Miro Pajic sneaks in charting a decidedly bleepier course while Bruno Pronsato delivers his signature 'romantic techno' sound.

There’s no way back and Marc launches the fist bars of ‘Undercover’ with just a bouncy kick and a vintage ‘house’ bassline. With reverb in full effect the drums and hi-hats find their own space and time. Then, if the synths that roll in aren’t mysterious enough for you, the pillow talk vocals will be. The end of each line, spoken with a certain sense of agitation, is covered by chords that ride, all night long. The revelation is for your imagination but you might not want to be ‘Under Covers’ with this guy.

Next up, Miro takes the dirty sheets and chucks them in the washing machine for a good old fashioned rinse and spin. This mix creeps along all bubbles, pops, tick tocks and rim shots. Snare rolls glide in and out of time only to snap back for a sub-bass drop or a little heavy breathing. What more can you ask for?

Bruno’s ‘Electric Blanket Dub’ warms things up quite nicely with its intricate, heady take on the original. Bringing a subtle balance to the three mixes with vaguely organic tones, natural rhythms and spontaneous drum fills, Mr. Pronsato comes through in full on a cold Berlin night.

The final track, ‘Triple E’, is an underground goodie brandishing a relentless kick and enough swing to make Chancellor Merkel do the Jitterbug. Combine sharp snares, a muted bass warble and nonsensical vocal snips panning from side to side and you have the perfect late night jack track or pump priming party starter.

True to the ‘no rules’ vision laid out by Marc, Magda and Troy, this new edition of ‘Items & Things’ is weird and wonderful with more bounce to the ounce.

MOANS/DARK BUTTERFLY

TTT015
Artist: MIRO PAJIC
Title: MOANS/DARK BUTTERFLY
Label:
TIC TAC TOE RECORDS
Cat.No.:
TTTDIGI015
Genre:
MINIMAL
Format:
DIGITAL

Tracklist:
MOANS (Alexi Delano Remix)
MOANS (Original Mix)
DARK BUTTERFLY (Original Mix)
DARK BUTTERFLY (Juicy Pecka Remix)

The 15th digital release on Patrick Bateman’s always reliable Tic Tac Toe is from Berlin based Miro Pajic and comes backed with some high profile remixes from Alexi Delano and Jussi-Pekka. Pajic is someone who has always explored a romantic gloom and mathematic sense of rhythm through his stripped back techno releases on labels like Lazerslut, Klickhaus and Harthouse, and for that reason has always garnered much support from the likes of Troy Pierce, Adam Beyer, Magda and many more similar artists: happily, this excellent new EP is likely to do exactly the same.
Opener “Moan” pairs weirded-out vocals with eerie samples, which swirl and swoop about the darkened landscapes depicted by Pajic. It’s warm, atmospheric minimal techno with a deeply embed groove which gets you, and keeps you, dancing as various claps and percussive hits come in and out.

“Dark Butterfly” is the other original cut and is more detailed than the first. Here the drums drop from a greater height and the pace is more upright, but just as many deft production details linger in the lovely techno spaces that remain.
The first remix comes from Swede Alexi Delano who has made big waves with releases on seminal labels like Plus 8 and Clink. This new school techno talent makes “Moans” into a wonky wig-out tune perfect for the dead of night. His synth sounds are globular and suggestive as the original’s vocal haunts the track from start to finish.
Closing out what is another connoisseur selection of sleek minimal techno, rising star Jussi-Pekka transforms “Dark Butterfly” into an acidic, gurgling tech house monster that bides its time to build to a tense peak. The well defined beats and shiny FX are mangled into a slippery arrangement which never sits still: one for the afterparty, for sure…

ZOMBIE BEAUTY
FALLING LOVE BIRDS
PUZZLE CANYON

According to the calendar of the Mayas, our planet will end this year, which is hopefully an imprecise forecast. Nevertheless Miro starts his 2012 with an apocalyptic sounding and 29th state-of-the-art release on Lazerslut. The title track Zombie Beauty floats with a funked up, filthy disco beat. Typical for Miro, it melds with a heavy leading bass synth which reminds of Carpenter style late 70's sci-fi horror movies. To cover the spectrum, he rounds out the track with doomy bleep glides, other obscure vintage sounding synth chords and his perfectionist atmospheric colors from outer space.

Falling Love Birds is far from a romantic or sad love song in its classic sense. This track rather fits a 2012 Maya-vision soundtrack from every aspect. Unsurpassable romantic gloom masterly assembled to an ultimate dance tune to hell. Miro's passion for accurate, emotional expression peaks at levels barely heard by other artists in this genre. Love it or loathe it - There's no in-between!

Miro's 28th release on Lazerslut introduces itself with slick, yet intense simplicity.

A vibe-y atmosphere keeps creeping upon you whilst a funky basic 808 supported beat is rolling and marching in this 10 minute "tour le dark".
Click Box and their various releases on Minus and Items & Things certainly need no further introduction. Remixing Neon Glow, they deliver their usual highest quality techno. As so often the guys combine old school drum machine fun(k) with spooky vibes of the original mix and perfectly blend it to another hit track!

Is This Dub? is the question on track No. 3. To find out youd have to say yes and step into another adventurous world of twisted oddity. Spring reverb driven hand claps funk throughout a spaced out low frequency nebula and alienated bass patterns. Occult-y voices chanting for and with the listener, not knowing where this will end. Find out for yourself - Possibly on the next party, after hour or another solar system...
